Consent standard

Organizers must identify the lawful basis for recording and broadcasting, provide clear notice, and obtain consent where required. Guardian authorization is required for minors when applicable.

Production safeguards

• Mark restricted athletes and areas in the production plan
• Do not show medical treatment, classification evidence or private conversations
• Use respectful language and accurate athlete identification
• Provide a rapid takedown and correction process
• Restrict camera join codes and production controls to authorized personnel
• Retain recordings only for the approved purpose and duration

Illustrations must not be presented as documentary evidence of a real athlete, venue or event. Alternative text should describe what the image communicates without asserting a false identity.
