Editorial, Corrections and Sponsorship Standard
How the Intelligence Hub protects accuracy and independence.Source standard
Consequential rules, classification, eligibility, qualification, programme and governance reporting should rely primarily on the IPC, governing federations, organizing committees and other authoritative primary sources.
Status labels
- Confirmed: formally announced by the responsible authority
- Effective: currently in force
- Action required: a verified obligation or deadline requires operational attention
- Pending: proposed or announced but not yet final or effective
- Corrected: materially revised after publication
Corrections
Material errors should be corrected promptly, dated and explained. Updated source links and the operational effect of the correction should be visible. Quiet deletion should not replace a correction where readers may have acted on the earlier information.
Sponsorship independence
Sponsors may support access, reporting or events but may not influence classification, eligibility, safety, official results, regulatory interpretation or the decision to publish a material correction. Sponsored content must be distinguishable from independent editorial reporting.
Automation
Automated monitoring may identify and prepare developments, but unsupported claims, rumors and proposals presented as final must never be published. High-impact updates require source validation and an editorial approval record.
