PARASPORTS CONNECT

Safeguarding Policy

Minimum protections for children and adults at risk.

Commitment

The dignity, safety and voice of athletes come before publicity, competition convenience or commercial interests. Every organizer must maintain appropriate local safeguarding procedures.

Minimum controls

  • Designated safeguarding lead and published reporting route
  • Appropriate screening, codes of conduct and supervision
  • Guardian consent and age-appropriate communication
  • No unnecessary private messaging between adults and minors
  • Safe media, changing-area, transport and accommodation practices
  • Immediate escalation of credible risk and preservation of relevant evidence

Images and broadcasts

Participation does not automatically authorize photography or broadcasting. Organizers must document appropriate consent, provide reasonable opt-out protections and avoid revealing sensitive location, disability or medical information.

Platform reporting

Safety concerns may be submitted through the platform's published trust or support contact. The platform is not an emergency service; imminent danger should be reported to local emergency authorities first.
