This edition covers the 29 Paralympic sports and 15 IPC-recognized federation sports. Four sport-specific changes and one movement-wide anti-doping update met the publication threshold; the other 40 sports had no material new sport-specific rule, classification, qualification or programme decision.
Start a medication and TUE review against the 2027 WADA Prohibited List before it takes effect on 1 January 2027.

Confirm every Aichi-Nagoya shooting athlete has an MQS; the event offers no classification and runs 16–24 October.
Load the FIS Para cross-country points-list publication dates into entry, seeding and eligibility workflows.

WADA has released the 2027 List, its Summary of Major Modifications, redline and Monitoring Program. The List is a mandatory International Standard and replaces the 2026 edition on 1 January.
Why it matters
Prescription, over-the-counter and supplement decisions made now may extend into 2027. A late review can create an avoidable anti-doping rule violation or leave insufficient time for a TUE application or medically supervised alternative.
Do not stop medication without medical advice.Check the exact substance, route, dose and timing with qualified medical and anti-doping personnel, then follow the applicable TUE process.
Operational checklist
Replace 2026-list links in athlete and staff resources for 2027 use.
Run a documented medication review for every international athlete.
Identify TUE renewals or new applications and work backward from competition dates.
Brief coaches, team doctors and support personnel before 1 January.
The current World Shooting Para Sport pathway notice confirms 10 direct slots at Aichi-Nagoya, not 11. The allocations cover first-ranked eligible athletes across R1/R2, R3/R6, R5, P1/P2, P3 and P4 as specified in the official notice.
Why it matters
Quota forecasts, selection scenarios and governing-board reports based on 11 slots are overstated. The correction especially changes the female allocation total from four to three. Athletes must already hold the required classification status and MQS because no classification is offered at the event.
Operational checklist
Correct spreadsheets, briefings and athlete pathway reports immediately.
Verify each athlete's MQS and not-otherwise-qualified status.
Use the event-level allocation table in the official notice rather than aggregate assumptions.
Keep Al Ain removed from 2026 planning; its replacement timing remains in 2027 and unconfirmed.
FIS fixes 2026–27 Para cross-country points-list dates
15 Nov 2026Third list published
12 Dec 2026Fourth list published
7 Mar 2027Ninth list published
FIS has published the Para cross-country list-validity and publication calendar. The current second list runs through 14 November; subsequent lists are scheduled for 15 November, 12 December, 4 January, 19 January, 14 February, 27 February and 7 March.
Why it matters
Points lists feed event administration, entry checks and competitive planning. Results submitted after a cut-off may not appear until the next list, so organizers and national associations need aligned results-upload and verification controls.
Operational checklist
Add every cut-off and publication date to the race administration calendar.
Verify athlete identity, licence and result data before each cut-off.
Use the list valid on the applicable event date for operational decisions.
Escalate missing or incorrect results through the federation process promptly.

175Expected medal events
World Para Swimming confirmed Guadalajara, Mexico, as host of the 13th World Championships. More than 600 athletes from over 70 nations are expected at the largest Para swimming event on the road to LA28.
Why it matters
Teams can now anchor the 2027 performance plan, travel budget and acclimatization strategy. The competition precedes the Lima 2027 Parapan American Games by less than three weeks, creating a tight turnaround for Americas programmes.
Operational checklist
Reserve the 25 July–1 August window and start travel-budget scenarios.
Map selection and classification requirements once the competition package is issued.
For Parapan-bound teams, plan recovery and travel into Lima.
Do not invent entry standards or deadlines before World Para Swimming publishes them.
World Para Ice Hockey released the full schedule for the second Women's World Championships. Canada and Team World open at 10:15 local time on 24 November; the medal games are set for 29 November.
Why it matters
The confirmed daily order now allows teams, officials, broadcasters and organizers to finalize training, transport, staffing and recovery plans around exact local start times.
Operational checklist
Convert all game times from Newcastle local time for team and media systems.
Finalize transport and meal plans around preliminary and placement rounds.
Brief Team World participants on centralized communications and documentation.
Use the official schedule for public information and operational run sheets.
